Cruising the 'net at work today (NYU's email server crashed, pretty much cutting off most of my job responsibilities for the day, since most of the professors at this school rarely check their voice mail) and suddenly realized the following:

* The St. Louis Cardinals are now 4 wins away from their first World Series since 1987.

* Not once in Saturday's OU-TX game did I have to calm myself down after a Texas score with the reminder that "you can't really keep a team that good from scoring at least once."

* There is an ever increasing chance that the annual OU-OSU clash on Oct. 30th will not only be for the Big XII South title, but a battle of undefeateds.

*My sorta kinda NFL fav, the NY Jets, are also still undefeated.

Just thought I'd share.

Perhaps later in the week I will post some about J1's b-day party, which included many fun things like kitty litter cake, balloon animals at 3 am, and waiting half an hour for an F train (there's got to be a reason why it's that letter) at 4:30 am. OK, the last part wasn't so fun. Or maybe I'll just wait until Nn's house (apartment) warming party this Saturday and ... I don't know why I bother promising. I will post if I feel like it and my computer isn't doing that weird freeze every five minute thing again (or if the NYU email stays down).
