Music: Kingston Trio TV/Movie: Instinct Link o' the Day: universal Remote Control Codes - the webpage Sharp readers might have noticed that the previous post which claimed "Monday night" was, in fact, a lie. Well.. not intetionally (or entirely) I had started writing that post whilst Pretty Maggie was in the shower and we were prepping to head to her first job interview in Providence. I just ended up finishing the post earlier than I thought and decided to upload it while there, but neglected to change Monday night for Monday afternoon. But now it's Monday night. Honest. Pretty Maggie's interview went well. she has a couple more later this week and is feeling pretty confident about things. She should be. To celebrate, we went to the animal shelter to pick out our new kitten. Now I was sure that I wouldn't settle for anything other than a grey mackeral-striped one, or possibly an orange tiger-stripe--short hair. I ended up, however, becoming rather impressed with this little black puff of fur that had the gumption to disentangle itself from its brethren to come and greet us with a very specific hello. I'm such a sucker at times. Anyway, we went through the adoption process, but because I rent, the animal shelter needed to clear it with my landlord. They weren't home when they called, but I learned tonight that my landlord has okayed it and has left a message w/ the shelter. Hopefully we'll still get the little black furry pooper--but they don't hold cats so we may end up w/ something different. So long as it has personality and isn't afraid of people. * * * Got a good amount of work done tonight in a short time. My head cold isn't making for any creative writing, but I jotted down some notes, did some outlining, and some quick research. Hopefully tomorrow my head will be clearer. * * * What? You want another link? Didn't I give you one already today? Oh... very well. If you must *g* Ever lose the code list for your universal remotes? Ever go through the frustration of these so-called "self-coders"? Well worry and fret no more! Hie thee hence and bookmark universal Remote Control Codes - the webpage. hey, it may not be illuminating or character-building or anything like that, but it's dang useful just the same. Enjoy!
