It's been pretty busy at work--jammed and catching up still following my little vacation. Actually, this being Tuesday, I'm probably as caught up as I'll ever be, but yesterday was not a good day to get a journal entry in. At home I've been getting the Bulletin into shape and awaiting some new materials from BearManor to get cracking on. I've not done any real writing for the past couple of days and need to take some time to address that as well.

One distraction has been Neverwinter Nights. when I first took the game for a spin I was a little disappointed and put it away while I finished Freelancer. I eventually picked it up again--mostly because I feel guilty buying new games until I've played out previous games, and I've had a pirate game on my want list. Anyway, I got back into Neverwinter Nights, and dang but it got a lot more interesting! I'm running a monk character, and that's all I'll say because the only thing more boring than listening to someone talk about their dreams is reading about their D&D characters. (But for the record, monks kick ass!)

I'm almost done with chapter one, and once I'm finished with that I'm going to shelve the game for a time so I can concentrate on writing--plus I'll have a bunch of freelance gigs to take care of as well.

We're forecast to get snow tonight. Two to four inches they say. that may not sound like a lot, but it's freakin' March! Are we going to have another year where we continue to see that messy, inconvenient-as-hell white stuff on the ground come April?

Sure, other places have it worse, snow-wise. Alaska, for one. As for this New Englander, though, I say--enough. Bring on spring!

And on to today's link--it's one for you webcomic and tabletop gaming fans, I bring you... Absurd Notions!. So the artwork isn't the most slick, and the humor can be a little dated, but I get a kick out of it.

Enjoy!
