It's facebook meme time again. Some of these things going around I enjoy. Some I readily give passes on. I'm enjoying these "getting to know you" ones lately. It's not just because I like talking about myself (who doesn't?) but I learn such neat stuff about other people. Plus, it's an easy morning journal entry.

1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? I have the exact same first, middle, and last name as my dad, but am not a "Jr." My parents were very specific about leaving that off the birth certificate because they wanted my identity to be my own.

2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED? A week or two after my dad died. Rough month.

3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING? No. I once jotted down some driving directions and accidentally summoned an Elder God. The apartment smelled like old fish and seaweed for weeks.

4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT? New York-style red pastrami

5. DO YOU HAVE KIDS? No yet.

6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON, WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU? I don't see why not. We'd have many of the same interests.

7. DO YOU USE SARCASM? Not as much as I used to. Seems kind of silly and annoying these days.

8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS? Yes.

9. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP? No. Too many factors out of my hands and I'd hate to be that one out of a thousand who'd have a terrible accident.

10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL? Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch

11. DO YOU UNTIE YOUR SHOES WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OFF? Nope.

23. FAVORITE SMELLS? Apple pie. Fresh-brewed coffee. Certain cheeses.

24. WHO WAS THE LAST PERSON YOU TALKED TO ON THE PHONE? Chris Reilly, the only other idiot I know who is voluntarily up at 4:30 in the morning. The main difference, I think, is he hasn't been to bed yet.

26. FAVORITE SPORTS TO WATCH? Fishing. Yeah! Fishing! Wanna make something of it?

Okay. That's out of the way. Yesterday was a hugely productive day for me. The Hardcastle and McCormick edits are nearly done; I should finish the rest this morning. I sent in a revised cover to Confessions of An Accidental Mouseketeer, and I've been working on the new TumbleTap webpages and putting together the sampler edition for the printer. Today I'll get cracking on the Stadlen changes including typing in the new introduction, and I'll be doing more on the graphic novel front tonight.
