I'm on a committee for a non-profit nature center in West St. Paul. Today we had another meeting for our charitable golf tournament, which I love because I get to skip 1.5 hours of work and take a lovely drive over the Minnesota River. And I'm doing my part as a volunteer, giving my time, blah blah.

I strolled in to work at 9:45 this morning and sat down at my desk. My boss greeted me with "Did you get your hair cut?" Without hesitation I replied "No, I just didn't wash it today."

He kind of laughed as most of the 7 people I work with started giggling. I'm sure my cheeks started turning pinkish, as they do often. I'm the type of person, who when embarrassed by something, points it out even more just so everyone knows I'm aware. So I announced quite loudly "I didn't wash my hair today, everyone."

My boss replied as he walked away laughing "Sorry for pointing that out."

I love my job. And I love not showering daily.
