Side note: Doug keeps coming up with names so the initials of our child will spell other words. Example: "FIVE" "GIVE" "DIVE" "SAVE". Ack!

The basement paneling is done. We can now paint the office portion and slap on the baseboard and corner molding. Then we can stock up the cupboards and shelves for storage, and sort through our desk stuff. Then we can move our computers downstairs! Then, we can get rid of our computer desks. THEN we can paint the nursery!

So news on the basement means progressing closer to a real, live nursery. My parents are coming in 2 weeks to help paint the nursery, so there is a goal in mind.

I'm meeting with my principal tomorrow to update her on paperwork and discuss next year's goal of working part time. I believe I have to apply for it if I'm serious about it, and she made it clear at staff meeting today that she was already working on schedules. So we'll see what's what.
