We adopted from Russia -

All paperwork is finished, signed, and dated.
I am taking the final photographs of our neighborhood tomorrow.
Gloria is notarizing all our papers within the next few days. (Thank you!)
Doug is calling Lansing (Office of the Great Seal) Thursday to make an appointment to have all our papers apostilled.

Then we send it all in.... and wait for our child.

WOW!

We had an early Christmas this past weekend with my dad's side of the family. We were overwhelmed with the generosity; over 30-some mix-and-match outfits, plus some unique toys and games that my cousin and aunt have been acquiring ever since we announced the adoption. Yes, over 30! So our closet and drawers are filling up and it's so CUTE!
