Appointment in Lansing at 8:30am Friday morning to have all 58 documents apostilled. If everything is okayed, it goes in the mail Saturday. THEN it's the waiting game of approx. 2-6 weeks until a referral. I get butterflies thinking about that now. I'm beginning to have dreams about it - receiving it in the mail, looking at the picture, packing to travel...

Carpet is being laid on Wednesday in the basement, and the final coat of paint is going on the walls as I type. We have cleared out the rooms where carpet is going. We also purchased 2 pieces of furniture to go in our new family room - a "barrister's bookshelf" to store all our videos, and a small entertainment center to house all the manly TV and stereo components.

Went to Doug's employee appreciation dinner this past Friday, and met up again with some of his coworkers on Saturday afternoon for a more casual affair. What amused me was the support we received for getting TWO kids! "Get it all over at once!" "Might as well do it now!"
Imagine... there is a possibility.

Otherwise, things going along swimmingly. Or I suppose you could say, I'm keeping my head above water. My principal and I decided to include a "Frequently Asked Questions" information sheet with the announcement letter of my pending leave, with answers on how class will run while I'm gone, etc. So I need to work on that over break, as well as my request to convert to part-time employment.
What I really want to do is sit in my new basement. Or the nursery. :)
