Pediatrician appointment went well. He is anxious to see Roman and is looking forward to the "challenge" as he called it. Gave us some tips, we discussed specialists (urologist, vision, hearing), and the fact we'll have to do all the vaccinations over again. Yay. His first checkup is April 7 at 9:15am.

So I asked for the letter to be typed asking for the 10 days waiting period to be waived. Sure. Except... their notary wasn't in. And was going to be out until Monday. Ohmygosh... panic set in. We HAD to have it notarized and to Lansing by Saturday.

So a quick conference with Doug, who conferenced with one of the notaries at work, said that if the Good Doctor would sign a prescription sheet, they would accept it. So I followed Doug into work today, where we had the letters notarized. I then traveled to Lansing for a visit with the Great Seal-er. Ten minutes later I was done, the 4 documents we needed apostilled, and we are OFFICIALLY done with all our paperwork. Really, really, really.

So I came home and am now packing Roman's suitcase. Trying to figure out clothes, toys, medications, all the good stuff that you pack for a child you will have for 5 days and not knowing his size.
