Last night Doug was coming in the door from doing stuff outside and Roman was in his way. I was in the living room. Doug said, "Roman, can you find Mommy? Could you show me where Mommy is?" Roman went walking across the dining room toward me, pointing his hand out at me with a grin. He understands and knows!
More proof: after playing by himself a little this morning and me doing stuff on the computer, I went back over the gate to play with Roman on the floor. He was kind of whiney and wanted to be picked up. I said to him, "do you want to read a book?" Roman turned, walked over to the stack of books, pulled one off, and brought it to me.
HOORAY! He's understanding! At least, a little.
Music today: nope.
