Obsessive: At our library times there is a 10 minute "free for all" where the kids can pick out books and read with their parent. There's a lift the flap Thomas Tank Engine book that Roman loves. He doesn't want any kids to read it, even when he's not reading it. When another child took off with it last Thursday, Roman started pacing around calling "choo choo! choo choo!" to the point that Miss Dottie felt moved to go out to the regular library and bring in every other Thomas book they had. Roman happily grabbed all FIVE of them and brought them to me. Another parent said, "we know Roman - he loves choo choos!" Makes me wonder if a 20-month-old should be so obsessed?

Sarcastic: Or, to be more accurate, he mocked another child at daycare. Which is really, really funny. They told me today that Alvin was crying because he had gotten in trouble and was sitting, carrying on... Roman walked over, sat down next to him, screwed up his face, and said, "boo hoo! boo hoo!" The caretakers said they had to turn away because they were laughing so hard!
