We went to a BBQ last night at a coworker's house. He did very well, playing nice with the dogs, cat, horses, and the 8-month-old baby. He even said "bye bye!" to everyone when we left. Cutie pie.

Today we caught him laying in his crib instead of sleeping... just laying on his back, twiddling his blanket in his hands. At least he was quiet and resting, but we thought it was funny! So its possible those two hour naps are much shorter than we thought.

Common phrases we hear now:
"Mama come.... Daddy come...."
"Mama help. Daddy help."
"pocket!" (he's fascinated with them in the last couple days)
He tries to say "whoopsy daisy" but it comes out "oopsy d!"
"Bam-bam? Car bam-bam." This is marching band music. He loves the drumming.
"Jammies" are his pajamas. We never called them that, he just came up with it.

Regarding emotions, he knows happy and sad. We're working on identifying "mad" or "upset". Whenever he hears a baby crying he says "baby sad. Baby cry!"

Lastly and the best, he is requesting "hucks" and "kiss" now. It's the best!
