This may seem a little disjointed, but I saw a show on "Napoleon's Greatest Victory" (at Austerlitz, against the Allied forces of Austria & Russia) on the History Channel this morning. You know I'm a history nerd when I sit half-naked on my bed to finish a show instead of getting into the shower. There's a vision for you.

Anyway, I have to confirm here that Napoleon is my most admired historical person. What a guy. What a brain.

I'm thinking of this because 1. I actually got to see an uninterrupted show in the morning (Roman was daycare), and 2. because I'm thinking of doing a small scrapbook about what I love about history, why I love it, and what certain things/events/people mean to me. And Napoleon would be, like, page 1.

Lastly, I want to see Neil Diamond in concert. I'm going now to look up what day he is in town.
