Working on: Getting back to the grindstone of work.

Roman was a wonderful, sweet boy this break. We bopped around to both grandparents and kept mighty busy; it wasn't until Saturday afternoon that he slightly melted around naptime.

Today Roman has been saying amazing things. For example, this morning Daddy got him up and while diaper was being changed, Roman started telling the story of the 3 Little Pigs. "Once upon a time..." he started. I'm ashamed to admit it, but we've never told him the story. He also talks about Humpty Dumpty. I think this is clearly Miss Katie's influence. He knew the story well enough to quote "chinny chin chin" and "I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house down."

Tonight after bath he was sitting on the potty, and pointed out his penis to me. He then pointed to me and said "see Mama's penis." I told him only boys have a penis, and that I didn't have one because I was a girl. He giggled and said "no... you're a Mama!"
