Le Miserable. That's me. Miserable, grumpy, grouchy, SICK. So sick.

I went home early LAST Thursday due to the onset of a sore throat and general blah feeling. I came down with a low grade fever sometime Thursday night.

I HAVE HAD ONE SINCE THEN. That's right - FIVE WHOLE DAYS.

I don't know if and when I've been this sick for this long. Normally after two MAYBE three days I start to feel better. In the instances when I've had bronchitis, the cough goes on a bit longer, but all the other symptoms start to wane.

Not this time.

I finally went to the doctor today. I still had a fever when they took my temp, and I told them how long I've had it, but they didn't seem to concerned.

I have every symptom under the sun - VERY sore throat, low grade fever, aches, headache, sinus congestion and pain, INCREDIBLY stuffy nose that runs like a freakin faucet causing me to now resemble a certain reindeer that led with his nose so bright, and now the cough is starting.

I JUST WANT TO FEEL BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The quack gave me some antibiotics and flonase and sent me on my way. "Call me if you don't improve." She actually said that, as if I would just sit and suffer and think nothing of it if I don't start to feel better sometime in the next decade.

So, anyway, that's my story. I'm gonna go and drink some more throat coat tea (TM) and suck on some more ricolas (TM) and blow my nose with my lotionized kleenex (TM) and apply lots of chapstick (TM) because my nose is so stuffed I can't breathe through it so I have to breathe through my mouth and my lips are incredibly chapped and Matt has to keep waking me up, when I actually do fall asleep, because I snore so loudly because I'm so congested and then I take some nyquil (TM)becasue I can't sleep because my throat and sinuses hurt so bad and then Matt can't wake me up to tell me I'm snoring and . . .

Well, I think you get the picture.
