2007-03-07 9:29 AM UP Thanks everyone for your get well wishes!
I can finally say things are starting to look up today. My nose isn't quite as stuffed up, my throat isn't too sore anymore, and I actually have a little more energy. In the past week I have gone through 3 1/2 boxes of kleenex, I can't even count how much tea, and a jar of honey that was 3/4 full. Seems I have a little restocking to do! I started on my antibiotics on Monday, so I figured after getting a few of them in my system, I would have felt some improvement yesterday. Oh contraire! I think they kicked my ass before they kicked in, because I was completely wiped out yesterday. Not that I had much before, but I really stayed on the couch all day. I'm going back to work tomorrow, after an entire week off. Too bad those days weren't spent doing something a little more worthwhile than watching the Price is Right and Magnum, P.I. reruns. At least things are quiet this time of year and I've seen all my big vendors for fall buying already, so I don't have to play big time catch up. The other reason today is looking up is because it's snowing! YAY! I LOVE SNOW! We're supposed to get 2-4 inches, but for us that seems like a freakin foot. And it's my favorite kind of snow, too. It started about 9 a.m. and is supposed to snow all day, so I get to sit and watch it come down. That's one of my favorite parts of a snowfall. So, I'm gonna go sit on the couch some more (imagine that) and watch the snow while sipping on more tea. But at least things are looking up and it seems I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
