Woodstock's Blog Books and other stuff I feel like discussing By education and experience - Accountant with a specialty in taxation. Formerly a CPA (license has lapsed). Masters degree in law of taxation from University of Denver. Now retired. Part time work during baseball season as receptionist & switchboard operator for the Colorado Rockies. This gig feeds my soul in ways I have trouble articulating. One daughter, and four grandchildren. I share the house with two cats; a big goof of a cat called Grinch (named as a joke for his easy going "whatever" disposition); and Lady, a shelter adoptee with a regal bearing and sweet little soprano voice. I would be very bereft if it ever becomes necessary to keep house without a cat. |

2014-02-16 3:34 PM A kink in the road I've been experiencing some real health problems. That looks kind of strange on the screen, because I really feel fine. I don't feel ill, at all, but it seems I am. Ill enough to need some fairly scary procedures over the next eighteen weeks.
I've enjoyed blogging, and I'm not going to stop. I've previously mentioned that I've begun to study creative writing and the major downside to that endeavor - really the only downside - is that it seems to sap my idea bank when I consider updating the blog. I don't plan to hang this gig up, but I may go quiet for awhile, every now and then. Perhaps one upside is that I've dropped out of the classes at Lighthouse Writers Workshop for the foreseeable future. So if I write, it will probably be here on the blog. But - in the meantime, there is this:Click this link I'm going to do my best to keep medical details out of this blog. I would hope that they would be fairly boring to most of you. But, if you would like to follow the other road I've suddenly found myself on - the above site is where you can do that. Thanks to all of you. Your friendship means a lot.
