Mood: Confused Read/Post Comments (0) |
2003-02-04 8:17 PM Did I Eat or Didn't I? Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.
I'm pretty sure I logged something for Saturday, but when I checked yesterday after logging, it wasn't there. Tomorrow is the test for three of my classes. I don't know if the students from the different classes know each other, but, just like I've been doing for a couple of years now, I made the same test for all three. The only problem was, I only finished having it mimeographed an hour ago, after starting it from scratch at around 5pm, instead of revising an existing template I have. I was supposed to have only one class today, in the morning. But when I got back to the department, a former classmate and co-teacher of mine was there. This guy, who I only worked with for less than a year after six years of college together, has been studying and working in Japan for ten years now, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. He showed up today to make sure that the university signs this memorandum of agreement with his university. We had a long lunch with another former classmate of ours who now works in another department. In the afternoon, instead of making the exam, I had to substitute for the lab class of the chairman's wife, because the chairman was meeting with the dean and the vice president of academics about the MOA, and couldn't go home to take care of their two kids. At least I'll only have three hours of sitting down tomorrow. But I'm bringing home the papers for collation because I'd rather spend the evening updating my journal and other such stuff.
