Ninja Skills Used For Lazy Purposes

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

Giving another side - not necessarily opposite what I've already written - to what happened yesterday that I wrote about in the student-accessible version, slacker co-teacher managed to be able to make it look like he was at a administration-mandated conference and yet still have the possibility of being on his own.

First of all, he was not in the required business attire, wearing just a short-sleeved collared shirt and jeans on the day itself.

Second, he was already in school, but he drove his car back to the mall by the toll gate nearest his place, where he asked (and was allowed) to be dropped off after the conference for easy travel going home - convenience all for him again.

We got to the venue at 130pm, after an hour and a half of travel, and instead of going with us straight to the session hall, he said he was going to look for lunch first. I was only thankful he didn't ask me to go along with him as an "accomplice".

From then on, even though our contingent was only seated on the fifth row from the front, we never saw him again until the end.

In fact, even though two other co-teachers and I found a shortcut going down from the auditorium, using a second staircase instead of the first one where everyone was crowding, he was still at the ground floor when we got there.

Which made me suspect he didn't attend at all, and the only comments he made in the vehicle afterwards about the topic he could have read from the program itself, which he didn't have a copy of (being to late to have been handed one) and he had to ask for my copy to leave at his cubicle as part of his pretension.

And he had the gall to be noisy about it in our transport home afterwards.

Of course, if we really wanted to investigate, we could ask him about the contents of the slides in the middle of the program, instead of just what happened in the start and the end.

Session 1973 really isn't giving as much effort to his job compared to rest of the faculty. Class dismissed.
