2008-05-14 3:23 PM A/P: Lazy People Act Worse When They Have A Great Lack of Momentum Student "edition" found at {csi dot journalspace dot com}.
Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on. Slacker co-teacher was up to it again today. On our engineering workshop (where I didn't name him in the student accessible version's account of the day) earlier, even though he was supposed to have come from someplace closer to the venue, he arrived late. It was bad enough that he was the only person who would not ride in the school vehicle (not for the first time; this would be the third or fourth time actually) since he prefers to have his own escape pod whenever he wants, even if it's before the allotted end time. So much for his complaining before about raising gas prices before. And he told our youngest faculty member to text him when we arrived at the location, not when we were near. So there's no way he would rather impress the director by being their early. He got there almost two hours from when we arrived, after instructions had been given. Good thing that he got there after the director had gotten back from the machine shop, otherwise he could have said he arrived earlier than he actually did, since he believes no one would talk negatively on his work ethics about him behind his back. And when he got there, he didn't do anything productive. The other people were transcribing from the manuals, and the best he could do was get the manual from one of the people already working, and just dictate the titles of the experiments to him. Wow, that really makes your presence worthwhile and really indispensable. And what's even worse, he started talking to the director about possible activities when we were already leaving, like that'll stick. I wish he'd been there by himself, just to see what he'd initiate doing. I bet he won't be able to come up with an original idea of how to go about working with the potentially great equipment there. Session 2161 even begrudges this momentary break to his month-long vacation. Class dismissed. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
