A/P: A Student Still Taking the Path of Least Resistance

Student "edition" found at {csi dot journalspace dot com}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

Apparently, the reason why the College Student Council was not able to get the covered court for their Acquaintance Party on June 27 is because the Integrated School were able to reserve it for their own party first.

In fact, they already have a large teaser banner outside the main building cafeteria.

"Face Off" it says. Apparently, it's a masquerade themed party.

Ironic that they started classes later than the college, yet they're having their party beforehand. I'm hoping it's because they reserved the venue earlier, and not because of strong-arming.

There was a meeting for the sports fest (or the sports development office) earlier, and even though the director is not in the Foundation Day committee, he should be, since a lot of the events planned are overlapping in responsibility and jurisdiction.

For once, the sports fest for everyone, from grade school to faculty and staff will be one for now, and kicked off by a fun run.

It's the same time that the fitness and health management program will be launched (which has the unfortunate acronym as a men's magazine).

Maybe I should be talking about this in the student accessible version, not here.

Some non-diligent student news: unmotivated guy talked to me yesterday, asking when he could take the make up test when in fact he hasn't even started making his excuse letter yet, which comes first.

After three absences, Ephraim now has one late, having come in at 845am earlier.

Of course that also meant he's late in submitting his plates, which have their own corresponding deductions. Is he aware of them?

I don't know. But if he thinks he can coast through this term and this course under my handling like before, instead of showing more effort than he has before, then he's mistaken.

Maybe I'll give him an idea about the risk he's putting himself in at midterms.

Session 2215 doesn't seem to be going out of the way to impress the teacher. Class dismissed.
