A/P: Working As A Student Anticipating What A Teacher Thinks.

Student "edition" found at {csi dot journalspace dot com}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

I'm a bit disappointed that the design of the token for longevity service to be given this Friday has been disapproved.

It was, after all, the proposal of a graduate who, unlike some of her batch mates, was able to find a job immediately after finishing, and stuck with it.

But, after all, the final decision isn't mine to make, but the administration's, who would rather just give cash of appreciation.

I'm not sure if it's for the same amount though, which is two hundred and fifty pesos.

Or, if it will be cheaper. I just hope the awardees aren't disappointed.

Since I sort of consider the graduate a friend, I'm more apprehensive on how I'm going to face her next time more than the awardees.

@@ Some stories about last Friday's graduate class presentation.

It's ironic that our group, the one with four members who don't meet outside the class hours, were the ones who passed first and were the ones who followed the teacher's instructions to the letter.

The next group presented two programs, because I guess they couldn't agree on how to proceed. Even our teacher wasn't sure how to grade that one, if she would just get the average of both methods.

I thought we were going to have that problem with our group, since we made three versions, but thankfully one backed out realizing her version wasn't as complete as the others, and it just became a compromise between the other two versions, one of which had more complete output statements and the other had an internal arrangement that was closer to what the teacher wanted.

The youngest group was the worst though. They didn't even read the teacher's printout about the deliverables, and they only typed up the documentation and burned their CD in the room while the other groups were presenting. The teacher noticed, and called them the "Crammers". they also didn't follow the teacher's instructions with their methodology, to the point that they'll be asked to re-present next meeting, with a deduction of course.

Session 2271 was disappointed with classmates as a student and as a teacher. Class dismissed.
