2008-08-06 1:58 PM A/P: A Student Still Hoping For Passing Under the Radar Student "edition" found at {csi dot journalspace dot com}.
Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on. Just found out from my recent graduate and board passer co-teacher LG that E-frame has not passed any of the past 5 plates in our Graphics One class. And in the most recent class, he just left his things on the table, didn't return until almost half an hour, got the plates he was assigned, then left again, because, according to two other classmates of his who also showed up towards the end of the period, they have an exam in the thermodynamics class after mine. So he would want credit for showing up in class, even though he's not supposed to get credit for staying or even working on the plates during the time. I even suspect that he asked for help from other people for solving the views he's supposed to analyze, at the cost of submitting his plates late. As if that will help him during the finals when he has to figure out the three-dimensional figure in the room with no help. I guess part of what dragged down his motivation for submitting the plates was when we made them unique for each student. That there was no other student in class he could copy the answer from. And to think, during the second to the last meeting, he packed up his things even before the end of the class, but didn't leave the room, just stayed there doing nothing. And I'm supposed to pass him for that slack-off behavior, including not waiting for the teacher to arrive in the room but returning afterwards? I was going to be lenient and pass him with a grade of one point zero despite all his recorded misdemeanors because I know he's getting at least a zero in three other subjects (ten units total) but there's just a point when his antics become intolerable. Session 2299 has given the teacher more than enough reason. Class dismissed. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
