A/P: Last Day of Finals On First Day of New Month

Student "edition" found at {csi dot journalspace dot com}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

So the ongoing investigation (not related to the previous two I've discussed) in the background right now is whether or not the student's suicide is in any way school related or triggered.

There's the angle of either having done very badly in one of her classes (after all, it was the middle of finals week) or the result of a peer conflict. Rumors are flying right now.

Of course it's a given that there will be speculations being misheard or deliberately being touted as facts in any sort of sordid situation.

It's just a matter of discernment which of the items is true or not.

@@ E-frame update: his partner has passed their graphics one project, four days late, and with his name attached, which means at the very least, he helped pay for the construction.

LG and I agreed on a grade of 80 for the project, minus 40%, which brought it down to 48. Even with a final exam and late plates, not enough.

And to think, up till now he hasn't asked for a make up finals.

@@ A certain student has finally passed switching theory, which means he might be my student next term in assembly language programming.

It might be a good thing then that I'm not handling the lab class, although I had initially wanted to be the one to teach that also.

I just hope that next term they have agreed to the individual programming exercises in the computer lab instead of at the engineering labs, where there are only four computers and thus the students have to perform the exercises in groups.

Well, this will be a very hectic next couple of days because of the extra happenings besides the computation of grades and course cards.

Session 2339 is just glad this term will be over and a new one will start. Class dismissed.
