Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on. One of the things that I realized about Mr. Most Important Research is that he talks first without looking at the other people's situation. Like on the plane home, I already got the bag he was talking about from the overhead compartment, before he reminded me of it. And I won't go into much detail about it, but the only time his "expertise" would have been useful to me, having been to those kinds of conferences several times, and he hung me out to dry, being - I think - more concerned at that time about his own expenses. I would not have known he was aware of my situation at the time, had he not talked about it with the other members in our contingent later. And it didn't help that Ms. Researcher's mean streak continued, and rubbed it in how my lack of action could cost me loss of property. Another thing Mr. MIR did constantly was ask me whenever I paused to take a picture of something if I wanted him to take a picture of me and my subject, even it it happened to be a flower up in the tree. Anyway, I'm glad they're out of my hair for the foreseeable future. Now it's back to the old annoyances such as a certain student. @@ At least the dance troupe who were supposed to have written a letter to the brother president after their last request for money for their latest contest, used my absence as an excuse why they didn't schedule a meeting with brother or make even a draft. @@ And trust Murphy's Law to prevail that the one person I entrusted as officer-in-charge while I was gone, the former coordinator, had a bout with pneumonia that laid him out for one and a half weeks, making him only visible to the students for the first two or three days that I was away, and gone afterwards. Session 2411 can't say there was any missing of this place going on. Class dismissed. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
