Irregular End for the Term

Student "edition" found at {thoughts dot com slash typed no space out no space loud slash blog}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

Let's look at the calendar for the rest of the term shall we? There are no classes on Monday.

Tuesday is supposed to follow the Monday schedule. Thankfully on that day I don't have any class in masters' in the evening, a reprieve given by the teacher, maybe because he also has extended plans for the Holy Week.

It has yet to be confirmed if Wednesday, most likely a half day (although it wasn't last year*) will follow the Friday schedule or not. If it does, that puts our plans awry, because the last experiment, which is supposed to be about using the telescope, had to be split into two days for the two classes.

*I'm sure a lot of employees complained since then about how difficult it was to go home on that Wednesday night before Maundy Thursday, and that it would be an act of cruelty if the administration subjected the workers to that again willingly.

On the day it was scheduled, there was the talk on self confidence in the morning by Anthony P. brother of Senator Francisco P. and father of medicine endorser Hanna.

So only the afternoon class was able to wholly be taught how to use the telescope.

We had planned that they will have their turn using the telescope on Wednesday before the Holy Week holidays, since there are most likely no classes in the afternoon.

And on the Monday after Holy Week, that's when the finals start, a lot of time given for the students to review, with very little time given for them to contact the teachers for consultation if there are any questions about what to review.

@@ A somewhat related topic is about speaker Anthony P. On the day he had his talk in campus, on the way out, there was apparently a mishap on the road with a mother driving another SUV. Even though Mr. P left, the mom was left with scratched paint on the left side of her vehicle. She got out, and wanted to get us all as witnesses that she was not at fault. Actually we couldn't do that because Mr. P's car was blocking our view as to what happened.

Luckily the brother president was on hand, and took the mother's contact information.

I'm sure just a few photo ops and signed books will placate the would-be star struck mother to let the thing slide.

Session 2625 wishes the matter settled. Class dismissed.
