Mood: Not Succeeding? Read/Post Comments (0) |

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on. It's sad when there are some people who can't help but grab the limelight. I guess that's the difference between the leaders and the followers. Followers will always think for themselves, and have the illusion that they are a leader, taking the same opportunities. Being able to admit the fault in public does not excuse that you are still taking the chance away from others to shine. Besides, when someone says "I'm an attention whore" that doesn't actually mean they're admitting they have a problem, but are just displaying one of the symptoms. @@ Now let's turn to business news: there's another epilogue about the ex-employee. He's back in another branch, making it the second return from the home province (does he even earn any money or is it all cash advance for his return trip?) after bad behavior with a boss. Of course it's one of the branches who are desperate for people. That's why it's always suspicious when the main branch decides to pass on employees; there's the lingering doubt as to whether this person did not pass muster with that management. Anyway, the speculation now is on how long it will take before he does something regrettable that would cause termination. Apparently now he also wants to be transferred to another branch with another ex-employee (who at least asked properly to be pulled out, and was told that she would be given a recommendation) so that they could be together again. Second ex-employee, who knows about first ex-employee's insufferable work habits, is having second thoughts about it. Could she turn him around and make him a model worker, or will his inability to learn commendable habits just be a continued burden to her already obsessive compulsive task routine? One other side note: ex-employee also would like to get the contact information of a current employee's ex-girlfriend, who was sacked in another branch for taking a lot of money. One wonders as to the purpose behind that need to communicate with a known "felon". Second side note about second ex-employee: employer and present employees are disappointed in her for not defending their branch against rumors (borne of crab mentality). And there's the suspicion that whatever she does relay about her experiences in the former branch can get twisted around by those who are maliciously envious of the success. Session 2699 knows now "high school never ends" is very true in the real world. Class dismissed. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
