Mood: Distration from Work Mode Read/Post Comments (0) |

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on. Today just because of the need to talk about something other than work I will talk again about that browser game I have been playing with the unique role playing game rules. As I mentioned before, one of my main frustrations about the game is that when one dies, the character loses experience points. This makes it very frustrating reaching the next level. For some time, I also had the misfortune of leveling up extremely slow because I always had to pick the fights that were too easy for me, so that I would not die, at the cost of fewer experience points. Add to that that I was also collecting all these free weapons and kits every game day, and I was not using all of them everyday which added to the weight that I was carrying. Carrying extra weight meant taking up more stamina in performing tasks, which meant I get tired more easily. It was only belatedly that I realized I could see all the extra kits that I had, although I did not need the extra money. Also, thankfully there is an enemy that had usually twice the number of hit points that I have that had a warning before it is encountered that I could run away with no harm that gives enough experience points at the end to automatically raise me one level. Even though it used up a lot of my kit (grenades that did a lot of damage in our round, a grenade that immobilized the enemy for several rounds, and a grenade that put the enemy on fire and losing hit points for several rounds) the victory was well worth it. I was too excited though to challenge my master for that round in the dojo that I forgot to go to the hospital for healing first, and I ended up losing to my master from taking too many hits. Fortunately, after one has been to the dojo, win or lose, one regains all the hit points back at no extra cost. So I was able to go back to the old habit of only fighting easy enemies until the start of the next game day, when I can face the master again (only once a day, is the limit). I have not mastered what foods to eat though so that I will automatically start with 100 stamina points a day again. The highest I have been able to go consistently is 87.5, sometimes 90+ depending on the character type I choose. So far I have played a human, a midget, a half cat and a zombie. I am waiting for when I can play a joker, which I think is possible at the higher levels of reincarnation. Session 2827 still has not found the best combination of type and skills to win easy. Class dismissed. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
