2010-03-17 4:30 PM Imagine, Working Only 4 Days A Week Student "edition" found at {thoughts dot com slash typed no space out no space loud slash blog}.
Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on. Ha ha! Posting a link to my review on Day Breakers (I know there is supposed to be no space but I am just allowing my spell checker to have its way for posterity) in the student accessible version has spiked up the number of page hits to even higher than the stats for the second post of the month, whose popularity with the surfing bots I have not yet determined the reason. No comments though, but that is okay. I did say it was a humble review. Also, I do not know if this made the ones following the link to check out the rest of the writings from the previous days as well. Okay, I do not want to become one of those hit counters anyway. I could, as some of the students in the social networks have supposedly done, label it as a one-time social experiment, just to see how people will react, or not react as the case may be. @@ Now, if there is an email about a meeting, and I skipped it, not knowing there would be a meeting, is it my fault that they did not write in the subject line that it is about a meeting? The freaking subject line just said syllabus! Okay, it is my fault for not reading it immediately anyway, but damn it, my time is just as scrunched up as everyone else is, so please make your subject lines relevant, people! Not that I said that to them. @@ I might be meeting my best friend from high school again later, the one whose wife is now also the assistant principal for student affairs in our Alma mater. From there it will be off to the GB3 or G4 area for hopefully a 3D movie, that dragon thing. @@ This is like the umpteenth week already, maybe fourth or fifth, that I have gone to the metro in the middle of the week for something school related. It is becoming a habit, and not really an unwelcome one at that. @@ Fervor seems to be dying down about the gradual end to activities in campus as the Holy Week will give way to the thirteenth week of classes, when there will be an activity ban already. I just do not like it that the students are acting and talking like they are not at any way at fault for why their activities were denied (too late in proposal) and as if all their activities had been denied since the beginning. Talk about inappropriate response. Session 3011 likes this sort of paid leave. Class dismissed. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
