Well, my car's totalled.

Phoooey.

So, now I've got to study my options for replacing it. Hmmm.

Current working plan is to look for a recent-model used Volkswagen, as they are small, handle well, consistently score well in Consumer Reports ratings, and are quite reasonably priced. (Since I have a spotless credit record and a good job, I could probably get decent sized auto loan, but I'm not at all sure that I want to.)

I suppose I should think of this as an adventure.
