Never heard of homeless men standing in lovelines... No? So... Phil West read tonight. He was great... I bought his little bookie... Nice guy. Had a lot of funny stuff. The Roma open Mic was great with nearly everyone knocking down great shit. I think our slam team is going to rock this year... People are coming up with whacked out stuff. I went out and rented Amelie. Brilliant film. Especially the first 30 minutes... but all the psychological montages worked well too. Hilarious. About 10-15 of my students came to Phil West, but about 20-30 people were there on their own... so We had a good turn out. Draco read a few poems. I wish I was a cooler teacher... no... not cooler... Better. I need to lose weight. I ate some rice crackers smothered in cheese... melted in the microwave. I should have had Fiber One. Cardboard with nutrasweet. Oh Well! I am thinking about reading the Norton Anthology of Theory and Criticism starting when grades are turned in. I will take the next several months to churn through it... and may get the tome read by the end of Summer. My Breasts are sagging. I think I'm Pregnant. it's a...it's a... it's a poem. anybody want to adopt it? |
