The editing continues. I only spent an hour or so on it today, which I blame on tiredness. I suspect this fatigue might have been due to the miserable weather today - that always tends to slow me right down. I know: excuses, excuses :) I've still got an editing to-do list a page long, so I'm beginning to wonder if I'll be able to get all that done by tomorrow night. We shall see!

Today I read the September issue of Locus and as usual, it was both entertaining and informative. For those who don't know, this mag covers industry news for the science-fiction, fantasy and horror genres (and various permutations thereof). It also includes book and magazine reviews, interviews and events coverage. I would consider this a must-read for anyone involved in writing stories in those genres, and it's well worth a look for readers too.

On a completely different note, if you like eating BBQ ribs, you've gotta try out Gardenburger meatless riblets! We had some this evening and they absolutely astonished us with their meaty texture and taste.

I enjoy my steaks, ribs, chops and so forth, but occasionally I try out vege-stuff like the riblets and sometimes I'm surprised. Anyhow, you should be able to find these things in your local supermarket. I should also point out that I am NOT an employee of theirs, nor am I affiliated with them in any way, shape or form (just in case you were wondering) :)

What I'm Reading:
Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut
Analog Science Fiction & Fact, June 2003
Locus, October 2003
