2004-05-10 4:53 PM Too much Broccoli Mood: Fed Up Read/Post Comments (0) |
Buy one, get one free is the biggest fraud perpetrated on the American consumer. What the hell am I going to do with six things of broccoli? Damn, broccoli has a high iron content right? Can I get gout from too much broccoli? Probably not, but I don’t have all this extra money to pay for gout treatments you know. I know I’m supposed to have 7 servings of vegetables a day, but this is from the people that think a serving is a half cup of ice cream, 7 servings is probably like 2 bites… Or wait, are serving sizes inversely-proportional to food edibility? In that case a serving of broccoli would be one dry pound worth, or approximately 19 cubic centimeters. Man, that’s hard to get all your nutrients from vegetables. I’d better stick to beer, of course there’s never any buy one get one free deals on that…
