Everyone else seems to be doing it, so now it's my turn. And yes, if all my friends jumped off a bridge I would as well. Only I'd do it in a bright pink lemming suit.

Yesterday was very cool. Rob and I slept in and when we got up we got presents! More days should be like that. We both got a ton of things. My favorites were my Palm m130 (from Rob), some cute pyjamas with bears on them (from my Nana), and the game "Kingdom Hearts" for our PS2 (from my Mom). We spent the entire day hanging around the house and noshing on turkey leftovers from the night before. For dinner my Mom brought in nachos and burgers from the Inn (a hotel and restaurant fairly close to her place). All in all it was a very fun and very relaxing day.

As a side note, my Mom and I came up with a new name for Rob. People keep calling him Bobert, but my Mom and I thought that it should sound French (due to the fact that his last name is French). And so Rob is now known as Bobert - pronounced Bo-Bear. Yes, I am insane. Thank you, drive through.

Gah! I hate this computer setup!!! The monitor is off to the side so I keep making massive misspellings. I can't type and look at the screen and it's driving me nutty. I honestly don't know how my Mom works this thing.

Today Rob and I each had a dentist appointment. I'm very happy because my teeth were all fine. They said I had kick ass teeth and gums which is pretty cool considering the fact that I haven't seen the dentist in two years. Rob had a few minor cavities which is also amazing considering he hasn't been to the dentist in around fifteen years. When we have kids they might have asthma, allergies, a bad back, bad knees, a propensity for weight gain, need coke bottle thick glasses, etc. but they'll be able to chew through steel!

After the dentist appointment we went to a neat store called ShopKo. It's like Target only has a bit nicer things. We had to exchange a pair of pyjama pants that my Nana got for me 'cause they were a bit too big. Then we picked up my Mom's car (BMW SUV) and dropped off the loaner one (a teeny BMW) that she was using. Her car is all nice and fixed. Yay! After that we headed over to the gambling boat. My Mom lost around fifty bucks, I lost ninety dollars, and Rob came out fifty ahead. We grabbed pizza at Happy Joe's for dinner and then headed back here to be with my Nana. She didn't feel like going out with us today. I felt bad, but my Mom says she generally likes to hang around the house.

I got a call from Berek on my cell phone last night. Yesterday he was heading out from LA and to Boston to visit his friends. He got stuck out in Chicago because no planes were heading out to the east coast. Poor thing. I would have liked to have been able to say hi, but Chicago is about three hours away from my Mom's house. For those of you not in the know, Galena is right at the edge of north-western Illinois, where Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa all meet.

Oh, if you know of anyone trying to get in touch with Rob or I while we're out here, tell them to use our cell phone. Something's really wrong with our home phone. When we call in we only get a busy signal. Our pet sitter has been trying to fix it for us, but nothing's been working and nothing is off the hook. Looks like we might have to call PacBell when we get back. Joy. It also looks like I'll have to take Sydney into the vet again when we get back because he still is having the problem with his throat. Luckily Tina is there should something major go wrong with either of the cats.

Tomorrow my Mom, Rob, and I are heading off to Chicago for the day. It should be fun and I can't wait for Rob to see the city!

Which Animaniacs Character are You?
You have megalomaniacal impulses regularly. That's not necessarily a bad thing, however, as you have the cranial capacity of a small planet. Trying to take over the world is hard work, though, and you're not above exploiting your lessers. Even now, you have a plan that's being enacted which will pitch the world's economy into turmoil, leaving the floodgates of trade exposed for the sole owner of stock in the Pets.com © company! You are en route to taking over the world!
Oh, and you ARE pondering what I'm pondering.
