Yesterday Rob and I got up way early and my Mom, my Nana, Rob, and I all drove to the Milwaukee airport for our flight home. We made some pit stops to see relatives along the way.

It was a three hour drive (not including our stop for lunch) to get to my other Grandma's (I call her Ma) house. Ma is my Dad's Mother. We all stopped in to see her and exchanged gifts with her. I only got to see her for about an hour, but it was so nice being there. I miss her (and the rest of my family) so much. Ma is going to be 92 years old in about two weeks and I hate the fact that I only get to see her once a year. My other grandma (Nana) is 90. No one who was with me knows this, but as we were leaving I was trying my damndest not to cry.

After seeing Ma we headed to my Aunt Mitzi and Uncle Jack's place. We stayed there for about a half an hour and then made our way to Milwaukee's airport for our flight home. We got there just in time. We got the last two seats together - had we gotten there any later we would have had to sit apart and I probably would have had a panic attack because I HATE flying and I'm a wreck when flying alone. Our flight was packed - they even overbooked it. But luckily we got on and were able to sit together. We got into LAX around 9pm and we got home around 10:30ish.

By the time we got home we were dead tired, but we still had things we needed to get done. We tried to see what was wrong with the phone line, but couldn't figure it out. And we spent some time with the cats because they were way lonely. Sydney is still having problems with his jaw/throat and he has a vet appointment for early tomorrow morning.

We decided to forget unpacking for the night and passed out a few hours after getting home.

Today Rob headed to work and I did some things around the house. I did some laundry and got maintenance up here to look at our phone lines. Armando couldn't figure out what was wrong, however he changed the jack in the bedroom and things seem to be working again. I don't know what he did, but we have a phone once more and so I'm happy. I just hope I didn't miss any calls regarding jobs while our phone line wasn't functioning!

Rob came home a bit early from work today and we headed over to the grocery store for a massive shop. We needed a ton of things because most of the stuff had gone bad while we were away. After getting home and putting the groceries away we unpacked and now Rob's cooking dinner for us. God, that man is an incredible cook. I can't believe how lucky I am to be marrying a man who can cook! If he had my kitchen skills we would probably starve. So, I'm going to head off now and eat dinner. Later on tonight we're also going to try and set up the Palm Pilot he bought me for Xmas/Yule. Yay!
