My Mom took off for the airport early Saturday morning. Shortly thereafter Rob and I headed out to Montclair for my hair appointment. I decided to go with dark blonde. The color turned out a bit darker than I wanted it to (it's on the border between dark blonde and light brown and I didn't really want to go anywhere near brown again), but people seemed to like it. I might get some lighter blonde highlights put into it the next time I go in. We'll see what I think about it then and what it's faded to.

After heading home from the salon Rob and I took a half hour nap and then got ready to go out. Carrie came over first and then Shannon came over in the limo. The four of us (Rob, Carrie, Shannon, and myself) hopped into the limo and headed over to Dungeon in Hollywood. Berek met up with us at the club. I think his Dad dropped him off. We drank a lot at Dungeon but really weren't even getting close to tipsy. The club was slow and not really super fun, and we had spent a mint on drinks (7 or 8 bucks a drink!!!) and weren't feeling anything so we decided to leave. On the way out of the club we saw Nobody and her man and Dennis. They were getting there just as we were taking off. We said hello and jumped into the limo. We decided to make good use of our limo and party in it for awhile.

We headed down Sunset for a bit and stopped off at a liquor store. We got some booze and made drinks while in the limo. We had 1980's hair band metal and disco playing as we partied. We sang along, acted like lunatics, and had a BLAST. This was probably one of the best nights of my life. We headed down Sunset until we hit PCH. Then we took PCH up to Malibu and got some food at the Jack In The Box drive through. The guy on duty there was a total prick. We then drove up to Malibu Canyon (Carrie and Shannon flashed Pepperdine) and headed to the 101 to take Berek home. Berek was dropped off first. Then the limo dropped Rob, Carrie, and I off. It took Shannon home last.

There aren't words to describe how cool last night was. Seriously, the little party we had in the limo was one of the coolest and most fun things I have ever done in my life. Shannon, you are a goddess!

I never really got all that drunk last night, just a little buzzed. Unfortunately alcohol doesn't like me anymore and I woke up with a bit of a headache. That headache turned into a migraine which in turn made me nauseous. I took some pills and tried desperately to keep them down. Rob gave me a body rub and I think he managed to hit some pressure points because the nausea subsided rather quickly and the headache was gone soon thereafter. That man is wonderful. Not only is he willing to give me rubdowns and foot rubs, but he can make me feel all better while doing it. I just can't get over how lucky I am to have him as my husband. Or how lucky I am to have friends like Berek, Carrie, and Shannon. Now that the bar is over life seems pretty sweet. I'm not even going to worry about the whole job thing until Jury Duty is over and done with. But that's a week away so I won't sweat it until then. This week is all mine to do with whatever I want. Yay!

Today Rob and I stayed in. We cuddled, slept a lot, rented Dark Wolf, and ordered in Chinese food. Dark Wolf wasn't too great of a film, but it had Alexis Cruz in it (an old friend of ours from gaming) so we wanted to check it out. Today was a nice lazy day which fit in well after all the partying that was done last night.

I'm not sure what I'm going to be doing tomorrow. I know I need to make a run to PetCo to get some dry food for the cats, but other than that it's completely open. I think I might sleep in. It's time to catch up on all that sleep I've been missing.
