Today kicked ass. Lisa came over around 10am. She headed up to my apartment and I *finally* got to give her the b-day present that I've been holding onto since March. I think she liked it. It was a sparkly blue make up case with a whole lot of "girly" stuff in it. We chilled out for a bit and she said hello to the cats and then we headed up to Ventura for her doctor's appointment.

The appointment went rather quickly and we were done with it a little after noon. We headed to Camarillo and grabbed lunch at Applebee's. After lunch we headed to the Coach outlet and looked around. I wasn't impressed and I managed to be in the Coach store without buying a thing (which is one hell of a feat for me). I found out that Lisa had never had a manicure or a pedicure and I know she's stressed about things so we found a nail salon and got pampered.

Yes folks, I am the one who de-flowered Lisa in the ways of having your hands and feetsies pampered. Lisa seemed to really enjoy the manicure / pedicure. She got both her toes and her nails done a gorgeous shimmery purple color. It looks incredible with her skin tone. I got my toes done a light blue (I figure I can have fun with colors on my toes cause if I ever get a job interview or anything they won't see my toes anyway) and had clear put on my nails (they chip too often to have color put on them).

So, both Lisa and I had a very fun and very "girly" day. Once we got our nails done we headed back and she dropped me off at home and headed back to her place to see her Nick. Rob recently got home and we're about to order in Thai food and give people calls regarding this Friday's D&D game (remember: pyjama party guys!). So, I had better get off line so we can get some dinner.
