Carrie came over today as a spur of the moment type thing. She's been having some issues and needed someone to talk to. So I told her to get her butt over here and she drove up from Torrance.

We talked for awhile and then Rob got home from work. Now, my theory is that whenever any female is down, one of the best things to perk them right back up is to be pampered and eat yummy junk food. So, after Rob got home from work the three of us headed over to the Burbank mall. We hit some of the stores (I got some cordoroy flip flops at Payless and a pair of brown leather boots (short) at Mervyn's) and then went to a nail salon. Carrie got a manicure (french) and a pedicure (sparkly silver) and I got a much needed pedicure (purple). Rob refused to get a manicure. I WILL some day get that boy a manicure. I WILL.

After getting our nails done we headed to Johnny Rocket's for dinner. Mmmmm, chili cheese fries. *drools and gains five pounds* After dinner we headed back to our place, hung out for a bit, and then Carrie headed back home. I hope she's feeling a bit better than before. I know that getting nails done and eating junk food won't permanently help what's going on with her right now, but hopefully it at least gave her some fun time.
