I got a letter from the State Bar of California today. They really should label the letters so that we know it's nothing to do with them losing the bar results or my failing so bad that I'm hearing back two months in advance. What I received from them was actually some good (but expected) news. Apparently they have found me morally sound. Which means that in order to practice law in California, all I need to do is pass the bar. Yes, passing the bar will be my biggest hurdle, but it's also comforting to know that it is also now my ONLY hurdle. Keep your fingers crossed for me my friends - I NEED to pass.

Tonight was another fun D&D night. The new usual crew of Carrie, Bryce, Berek, Pita, and Al showed up. Rob ran the game and I think everyone had a fun time. I brought in a new character because my old one (the lycanthropic were weasel) just wasn't working out the with group anymore. I'm now playing a dragon. And before you ask, no, I can never do anything the easy way. I like my new character and she seemed to get along all right with the group. The game was a blast and Rob and I are going to try to see if people are interested in doing it once a week instead of once every two weeks. It could be cool especially if we do move out of LA down the road. That's one of the two things that would suck about our moving. Who would we play D&D with if we went to Chicago? The other thing that would suck about moving would be the fact that all of our friends are here. And it would be very difficult to leave them. Ah well, we'll just see where I geta job offer and go from there.

Okay, time to go to bed. Tomorrow night we hit Knott's!
