If you ever want to gain five pounds in one day, just head on over to a Brazilian all you can eat meat place. Damn.

So, last night when Rob got home from work we decided it was time to cash in the money in our coin jar. Because carrying coins around is a pain in the ass we put any coins we have at the end of the day in a coin jar. When the jar is full (about every 6 months or so) we cash it in at a Coinstar and get real money (bills) for it. Normally, we have a bit over $100. Then we take that money and go out to a nice dinner. Last night we decided that it was time to cash in our coins. Rob made a run over to Ralph's to cash everything in, but their Coinstar machine was at capacity. He then called around and found out that the majority of those machines in our area were either at capacity or broken. We finally found one working at a little ghetto Ralph's in a skeezy area of North Hollywood. We weren't able to cash in everything (the machine hit capacity towards the end of Rob dumping coins in), but we did cash in almost all of it. The rest will stay in the jar until the jar once again hits capacity. We got about $115 out of it last night.

We took our newfound money and headed over to the Pichana place in Burbank. If you've never been to one before (and like meat) I highly recommend checking one out. It's almost like Brazilian Dim Sum. You can get side dishes at a buffet bar, but the meat comes around to your table. You have a little stick and put the green side up when you want the meat man to stop at your table and the red side up if you're done or just need a bit of a break. The meat man comes around will all different types of beef, lamb, chicken, and pork. It was nice going there on a Tuesday night because parking was ample and the place was only about one thirds full. We ate our meat and I made sure to not pig out too much. Unfortunately, that didn't matter because even not eating a ton there I gained five pounds since yesterday (and I know it was from the meat because my only other food was a drinkable yogurt for lunch). The place is somewhat expensive (it was $75 including tip for us) so it's a good place to go when we have coin jar money.

We had about $40 of coin jar money left over after dinner and so we're going to use that to order in food tonight. Two dinners (one super nice) out of that jar of spare change. Very cool. When we got home last night we watched some TV and played around on Neopets.

Not much is going on today. Same old, same old. Tonight we'll probably order in dinner and watch some TV (Smallville and Angel). I guess we had better appreciate Angel while it's still on the air. Berek called me the other day and told me that the WB is cancelling it and this is the last season. That so bites. It's definitely one of the best shows on TV right now and it's not doing too bad ratings wise either. I can't believe that they would cancel Angel and keep on Smallville (which is kind of blowing hard this season and becoming rather lame). Grr. The WB sucks big donkey schlong.

Coffee

The Aphrodisiac You Should Try Is: Coffee

Sounds a bit odd, but for you, it's totally true
Either you or your partner need a bit more energy in the bedroom
And coffee is the perfect way to get things going

Just like being in love, caffeine gets your heart and nerves going
Plus, it's the recommended cure for sex stopping headaches
No wonder coffee drinkers are twice as likely to be sexually active than non-drinkers!

For an extra aphrodisiac boost, try sipping a foamy mocha (with both coffee and chocolate)
Or lace your coffee with honey, another aphrodisiac that does wonders.
Just make sure to get it on fast - before that coffee withdrawl sets in!
