Thoughts and Musings

Luckily, I didn't have to take Rob to the ER last night. We went through the night without any more problems.

When he got home from work we made a run out to Bed, Bath, and Beyond. We needed two new garbage cans. Our main one is now a cool looking hot pink one. We needed to replace our old blue one because it was NASTY. I've had it since college and it's gotten pretty damn funky ever since then. We also got a smaller metallic (silverish) one for recyclables. Our building is now recycling paper, aluminum, glass, and plastic. Luckily it is all thrown into one bin downstairs (so we don't have to separate everything out) so we decided to get a garbage can for recyclables.

We then headed over to Ralph's and picked up some healthy snacks (like fresh snap peas and apple slices) and some food for healthy cooking. We got a wok as one of our wedding gifts so tonight it's going to be stir fry time. I spoke with my Mom on the phone last night about Rob and she's suggesting some healthy recipes for us to try. Hopefully, they'll be good.

When we brought the mail in last night I received a letter from Bela Lugosi. He thanked me for sending in my resume and said he had given it to those who do the hiring, but they're not interested in me at the moment. *sigh* At least they were nice enough to send me a rejection letter (most places never contact me in any way). He did, however, give me the name of a guy in Santa Monica to send my resume to. I'm going to look his firm up online and send something out next week. I'm not even going to worry about the job hunt until I know what the hell is going on with my husband.

Tonight Rob and I are probably going to relax around the house (cook dinner, watch tv, snuggle, etc.). Tomorrow I'll be heading over to Good Sam so that I can have lunch with Rob and be with him at his doctor's appointment. Please keep your fingers crossed for him - neither of us want him to have any problems with his heart, especially when he's only 28 years old.
