Last night was our D&D game and everyone except for Al was there. It looks like Al's appearances at the game are going to be few and far between. Apparently he's now spending his Friday nights doing DJ stuff on a pirate radio show. D&D went well and there was a lot of in character drama (like Pita's evil half-dragon druid trying to kill Berek's good ranger half-angel) which added a lot of flavor to the game. The battle scenes ran smoothly and Rob did a great job putting the game together. I don't think he realizes how good of a DM he is. After the game I pretty much passed out because I had to get up early today.

This morning Rob and I headed out to Montclair for our hair appointments. I got my roots touched up and my hair trimmed (the ends were really damaged) and Rob got his hair cut. We had take out Chinese appitizers from the amazing Chinese restaurant next door for lunch while the dye was sitting on my hair. After the hair appointment we headed to a nearby movie theatre. The only movies that were playing in the next two hours were Cody Banks, Scooby Doo 2, and Dawn of the Dead. We had absolutely no interest in seeing Cody Banks and had already seen Dawn of the Dead so we decided to see Scooby Doo 2. Granted, there are other movies out we want to see more, but we didn't want to wait around for over two hours to see one of them. Scooby Doo 2 was very eh. It was decidedly mediocre. It had some cool things about it (like the use of the more popular monsters from the TV show) and was lame in some spots but overall was very ... eh. It was just kind of there. I didn't like it, but I didn't dislike it.

After the movie we headed to the mall in Montclair and looked around for a bit. Rob picked up a Frylock stuffie (the fry thing from "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" that looks like him) at a movie store. I think he's going to take it to work with him. Knowing the people at work, they'll drop off things with it when he's not in the office. From what I hear, that's about the brain power of a lot of his fellow employees. He also picked up a body pouf for himself at Bath and Body Works. While there I picked up some hand lotion (I go through that stuff very quickly) and some strawberry scented oil to put in our "wallflower" plug ins.

We then headed out of the mall and made a stop off at Linens N' Things. We looked around for a while and I ended up getting a new hair dryer. It's the exact same as the dryer I currently use. My current one needs to be replaced because the plug is starting to erode a bit and I don't think that's super safe to keep using all the time. Rob got some carpet cleaner.

After our store runs we headed to Long John Silvers for dinner. I freakin' LOVE that place. Yum yum yum yum yum!!! We only get to eat there about once every two months or so (pretty much whenever we're out there for our hair appointments). I wish there was one near us. *pouts*

After dinner we headed back home. On the way home I noticed a HUGE flying bug in my car. Rob kept his eye on it and thinks it got sucked into the vents. Ew. Just what I need. We decided to stop at the Game Zone on the way home since Pasadena is just off the freeway I take to get back home. Rob and I both picked up some more D&D miniatures and I got the core rules book for the "Call of Cthulhu" game. I'll look that over later this week. After the game store we made a pit stop at Jamba Juice and then came home.

Currently, we're just lounging around the house. I don't think we'll be going to be anytime soon though because we're still wired on fish planks and Jamba Juice.
