I got an Easter basket!!

My husband is such a sweetie. Last night he came home from work with an Easter basket for me. It's an adorable basket with butterflys on it. In it was some plastic eggs with jelly beans, some chocolates (Godiva none the less), two dark chocolate bunnies (also Godiva), jelly beans, a "cookie pop" (pretty much a cookie on a stick), and an adorable little fuzzy yellow bunny with big blue eyes (which kept scaring Amber). There was also a side of Peeps.

I don't ever remember getting an Easter basket before so this meant a lot to me. When I told my Mom about it she said I got some as a kid, but for the life of me I just can't remember getting one. Then again I don't remember a lot about my childhood. Either way, this is the first Easter basket I *remember* getting. Rob kicks so much ass sometimes.

On a completely unrelated note, last night the bulb in our bedroom lamp burned out and then this afternoon the one in our living room lamp started having problems. The one in the bedroom lamp just went. The one in the living room keeps making a popping noise and going out. Then I turn the lamp off and a few minutes later there's another popping noise and the bulb works again for a few more minutes. I hope it's the bulb in the living room lamp that's having problems and not the lamp itself. Rob said that there's a hardware store on his way home from work so he's going to stop off and get a few more halogin bulbs on the way home tonight.

I think tonight we'll just be staying in. We had toyed with the idea of seeing a movie (there are many out that we both want to see), but I'm having "girly problems" which aren't making me feel up to doing anything other than sitting in the apartment with a heating pad. Ugh.
