Today we all slept in. Rob, my Mom, and I didn't even wake up until around noon. My Mom got up and got ready while Rob and I stayed in bed for a while longer. Around 2pm we actually got out of bed and into the shower. No big deal, today was one of those days where we were just winging it.

After getting ready the three of us headed into the part of Galena (aptly called Main St.) where all the cute little shops are. We walked around and bought some things. Rob got me a stuffed fish. The shady side of the street was rather nice, but the sunny side was a bit on the hot and uncomfortable side of things. All in all it was fun just walking around and looking in shops. Around 6pm we headed to dinner at the Backstreet Steak and Chop House. That place is sooooo yummy. We all had a good dinner and then headed back to my Mom's place.

Currently we're watching TV and doing laundry. Once the laundry is done we'll start packing and getting ready to head out tomorrow morning. Our flight back to LA is a late night one (we leave around 7:50pm and arrive in LA a bit after 10pm - which means we probably won't get back to the apartment until around midnight since we'll have to wait for luggage and all that), but we still have to leave my Mom's place early because of the drive from Galena, Illinois to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It's a pretty long drive and we'll need to stop for lunch, pick up my Grandma from my aunt and uncle's house, and get to the airport by 5:30pm. Ugh. I am not looking forward to tomorrow. Not only do I not want to go back to LA, but I also hate plane rides. Tomorrow's not going to be a happy day for me.

I really wish we had more time out here, but Rob's got to get back to work and I have to get back to job hunting. I won't be posting tomorrow because we're getting back late, but I will post on Monday.
