Tonight was D&D. Everyone was there and we brought in a sandwich platter from Togo's. For all you gamer types out there have you ever heard the saying "who needs plot when you have player character's"? Because that was tonight's game.

Rob had a nice plot planned out for the game and about five minutes of the plot got carried out. The rest of the game was player to player fighting. Tonight, the tension between my character (a devil) and Berek's character (an angel) finally came to a head. We started fighting over how to treat a captive and then stopped. Unfortunately, the NPC that Rob plays on a regular basis (and my character's cohort/boyfriend) took offense to Berek's character pushing my character and so he cast a "disintigrate" spell. Berek failed his saving throw - and his character winded up as a pile of dust. For the next few rounds all our characters stared in shock and awe.

Berek was cool with his character's death. In fact, Rob asked him before if he would have any problems if his character died. He had another character ready to go anyway because he had been considering pulling his angel out of game. Tonight was a very intense and very good game. The role playing was the best I've ever seen it. And Rob had his first player character death *ever* as a DM. So, tonight's game was very cool and very interesting. I normally don't post the details of the games on here, but this time I thought it was interesting enough to post. Especially since Berek lost his character. Sorry about that B...
