2005-04-10 1:25 AM Crack Battered Fish Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Happy Read/Post Comments (5) Today Rob and I couldn't think of anything we really wanted to do, so we did our usual of heading out to the Inland Empire area. We stopped at Lionheart Games and were very pleased to find that the new D&D book for this month had already been released (normally they come out at the end of the month). He got the book, some minis, and a map sheet. I got some minis. Lenny gave us a neat poster for the DeathKnell minis since he wasn't going to put it up in the store. He rocks. From there we went to Border's and got some CDs. Rob got a CD by A Perfect Circle and got me a pink and white beanie gerbil. I got six CDs. Two by Enigma, one by The Damned, one by My Bloody Valentine, one by Madonna, and one by Sarah Brightman. By the time we were done in Border's we were both very hungry, but didn't feel like Chinese food. So, we headed to Long John Silvers because it sounded good and it had been awhile since we had been there. Mmmmm, fish and chicken dipped in crack batter. That batter is so addicting. They have to be putting crack in it. After dinner we made a quick stop at Best Buy to look at iPods. We're thinking about getting one, loading our favorite songs from our CDs onto it, and using that to play music in our cars. Much easier than always toting around CDs. We decided to hold off on getting one until we can bring along some of the gift cards we have. Those should take a nice chunk out of the cost. We then made a pit stop for gas and headed towards home. On the way home we made a run into the Game Zone where I got Amber a belated birthday present (she turned 4 yesterday) of a plush D-20 since she keeps stealing our dice. We also stopped at a Starbucks near our place and then finally headed home. Now I'm doing my usual weekend night thing of messing around on the computer while Rob naps. Not sure what's up for tomorrow. We were going to head to the aquarium with Carrie, but they're closed all weekend for the Long Beach Grand Prix. Grr. Guess we'll have to see the fishays some other time. ----------
