Last night Rob and I headed to the nail salon. I desperately needed a manicure. The last one I had was back in, I think, September or so. While I tend to get pedis once a month, I get manis less often - only when I really need it. And I've needed one for awhile now. Rob went to Starbucks for a bit while I was getting my nails done and then just hung out and read a magazine. While he's up for pedis because they prevent ingrowns, I don't think he's interested in a mani. My nails look so much better now. I think the manicurist took about a pound of cuticle off of me. My cuticles were getting scary. I had a clear coat of polish put on. I love color (hence my toes always being colored), but because polish chips off of my nails so quickly (the clear is already chipping from my typing) I usually go with clear or no polish at all on my nails.

After the nail salon we had dinner down the street at Boston Market and then went to Baskin Robbins for ice cream. I am such the ice cream whore. So love it, especially in this nasty hot weather. Then we headed home, gamed a bit, watched the news, and went to bed.
