Last night Rob and I headed up to a mall on Topanga Canyon in the Cangoa Park area. We have been looking for disposable luggage locks, and after calling pretty much every place in the phone book that might have them, we found one place that had them in stock. So, we went there and picked up a few packs of the luggage locks at a luggage store in that mall. I think it's called Topanga Mall or something like that. The luggage store also had something else I had been looking for for awhile now. We have a ring holder in the bathroom that's shaped like a kitty. When we originally bought it Rob wanted the kitty and I wanted the snail. We got the kitty. I've wanted the snail ever since, but have never been able to find it. This place actually had the snail! Woot! Now his ring can go on the kitty and mine can go on the snail (and I no longer have to call the kitty a snail and pretend it's a kitty-snail).

While at the mall we also made a stop at Brookstone. Rob got a travel pillow and I got a travel neck pillow. We decided to buy our own since the ones they give you on the plane are just plain nasty. Here's a tip I once got from a flight attendant that my Mom was friends with... NEVER use the pillows or blankets on an airplane. Just don't do it.

We also stopped at the LASPCA store and I bought a mousie for the cats and a bracelet for my Mom. We had dinner in the food court (Mongolian Barbecue) and then headed out and back home.

Rob is home right now. Woot. He didn't have to go in to work today because he was summoned as a witness in a case between the hospital and a union. He spent most of the day being cross examined and when they let him out his boss let him come home since he probably wouldn't have gotten back to work until right around the time he would leave anyway. Sweet. Nice to have him here in the afternoon.
