Tuesday night Rob and I headed over to the Oasis Nail Spa to get pedicures. The pedis were nice and relaxing and neither of us has "talons" anymore. I got my nails done a really pretty gold/orange color. After the pedis we grabbed dinner at Del and headed on home. After eating we gamed, watched the news, some shows on Food network, and went to sleep.

Yesterday I had a doctor's appointment at Good Sam. I got there early and spent a bit of time in Rob's office as usual. His boss always says it's cool. However, yesterday was different and she pitched a fit about how my being there is unprofessional. So, I got to spend the rest of my time waiting in an un-airconditioned hospital lobby. Not cool. My appointment was at 4:30, but I got there fairly early so I could beat traffic and have the time to guzzle water so I could pee in a cup for them. By the time 4:15 rolled around I headed up to the doctor's office. Mmmmmmm, air conditioned office. Nice. Rob met me up there for part of the appointment. It went well.

After the appointment Rob and I headed back to our neck of the woods for a slew of errands and some foodage. Our first stop was at a local salon for me to pick up some more of the purple stuff that I use in my hair (it's called Liss Extreme and is by Loreal Professional). We then headed to the Burbank mall and I picked up a pair of slippers at Mervyn's. Just something cheap I can take along to my Mom's place. Dinner was had at Picanha due to the fact that I wanted MEAT and Rob and I were starving (my lunch was some bean with bacon soup and his was a chocolate bar). Dinner was yummy. From there we headed to the drug store to pick up a whole bunch of things we needed before our trip. Then a stop at the ATM and then, finally, we headed home. At home we watched the news and some stuff on Food network and passed out. Quite a long day.

Today I'm laundering the sheets and doing some basic stuff to get ready for our trip. Tomorrow should be a busy nightmare. Rob has to wrap a ton of stuff up at work since he'll be out for a week. Meanwhile, I'll be laundering all the clothes and towels and getting stuff ready to pack. Yuck.
