pregnancy

I thought this could be fun and interesting. The DNA test said I'm having a girl, but I won't know for sure (if the Bunny cooperates) until my 20 week ultrasound. But for now, I'm going to see how things pan out using old wives tales. This is just for fun.

Signs I'm having a girl:
- The hair on my legs is not growing faster than it did pre-pregnancy.
- My feet are not colder than they were pre-pregnancy.
- I refuse to eat the heel of a loaf of bread. (But then again, I wouldn't eat it before getting pregnant either.)
- My mother (maternal grandmother) does not have gray hair showing. (Apparently it counts as not gray even if dyed.)
- I'm looking worse than usual during the pregnancy.
- My chest development has been quite dramatic. (As if I needed bigger boobs!)
- The sum of my age at conception and the number of the month of conception is an odd number. (30 at conception, conceived in May.)
- A pendant held over my belly moves in circles.
- I'm craving sweets.
- My nose hasn't gotten any wider.
- Baby's heart rate is 140+. (It's around 160 last we checked.)
- I'm craving orange juice.
- My belly looks like a watermelon.
- I show my hands to people palm up.

Signs I'm having a boy:
- I'm carrying the extra weight out front.
- I'm carrying low. (But then again the uterus is still below the belly button.)
- Rob is gaining weight as well. (But then again he's been working out a lot more and building up some decent muscle mass.)
- I didn't have morning sickness early in the pregnancy.
- Urine is a bright neon color. (Which I'm pretty sure is from the prenatals.)
- I'm craving meats and cheeses.
- I'm having headaches.
- I use the handle when I pick up a mug. (But I did that pre-pregnancy as well.)
